Two of my kids left our school for the rest of the year. I was not prepared at all to say goodbye to them. I am starting to feel the weight of bittersweet emotions involved in the end of this journey. So much growth, so much love, so much sadness. It all finds a way to work itself out.

Felt my first earthquake tonight and it was awesome! I am so excited about it. I have even tracked where it occurred and the points on the richter scale! So freaking cool. I experienced a geological event! Nerdin’ out! 4.6 on the scale. 100 and something miles from Dushanbe and 130 miles of depth. Geology is so cool.
